Jakhar demands investigation of Indian Kabaddi team going on tour to Pakistan

Chandigarh Punjab Congress President Sunil Jakhar on Monday demanded an inquiry into the controversial visit of the ‘unauthorized’ Indian Kabaddi team that visited Pakistan for the World Championship. Jakhar questioned how the players went there without any official approval from the Union Sports Ministry.

The Sports Ministry and the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) claimed that they have not approved any players to play in Pakistan. Jakhar said, “It should be investigated how the players got there.”

He said, “This is a very serious matter and should be thoroughly investigated. It should be investigated why these players have been sent there. ‘
