Indian captain Kohli slips to 10th position in ICC T20 rankings

Dubai. Indian captain Virat Kohli slipped to 10th position in the batsmen’s list of ICC’s latest T20 International rankings released on Monday but Lokesh Rahul and Rohit Sharma are ranked second and 11th respectively.

Kohli (673 points) has lost one place as captain Eoin Morgan, who scored 136 with 2 half-centuries during England’s 2–1 win in the 3 match series against South Africa, finished 9th with a total of 687 points. Have reached the place.

Rohit, who is recovering from a calf injury, is ranked 11th in the batting rankings with 662 points. Babar Azam of Pakistan leads the list. Azam has 879 points.

Rahul is in second place with 823 points. In the bowling list, India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is in joint 12th position with West Indies fast bowler Sheldon Jackson.

South Africa’s left-arm spinner Tabrez Shamsi has entered the top 10 with a jump of 9th place. He is ranked 8th. England spinner Adil Rashid has overtaken South Africa’s Andile Fehlukwayo to reach 6th position.

Tom Curren, who was instrumental in England’s 2-run win by taking 5 wickets in the series and throwing the decisive final over in the second match, has jumped into the top 30 with a jump of 28 places.

Among the batsmen, South Africa’s Quinton Dyak rose 10 places to 16th, while his opening partner Temba Bavuma jumped 127 places to 52nd position. Bavuma scored 123 runs in 3 innings at a strike rate of 153.75.

Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi top the list of bowlers and all-rounders respectively.
