ATK reached semi-finals from hat-trick of Krishna in Hero Indian Super League


Kolkata. With the help of Roy Krishna’s superb hat-trick, two-time champion ATK defeated Odisha FC 3-1 here on Saturday to secure their place in the semi-finals in the 6th season of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL).

The first half of the match played at the Salt Lake Stadium here was goalless but ATK registered a fourth consecutive win in the second half with a strong game and topped the table.

ATK has gained 33 points from 16 matches and has reached the mark of FC Goa. But with a better goal difference and match record, ATK has overtaken Goa to take the top spot. Odisha has suffered its third consecutive defeat.

Krishna completed his hat-trick for ATK by scoring goals in the 49th, 60th and 63rd minutes. Manuel Onu, playing his second match for Odisha, scored in the 67th minute.
